Halloween happened, as did nearly half of November

Halloween was an unqualified success, unless you count people trespassing at the party and stealing coats as a negative, in which case it was a qualified success. Personally, though, I believe that such occurrences contribute crucial anecdote material.

All my photos are here, although as Casey pointed out, I don't actually have any photos of me. So what was I? The female Movering readership will probably be able to deduce my identity from the photograph below...

Oh yes, I was Kristy from the Baby-Sitters Club, otherwise known as the loudmouth bossy one. On the plus side, the costume required less assembly than my outfits of the last two years (I didn't have to duct-tape a single dowel to my body). However, I did feel a little bit as though I phoned it in. I was wearing sneakers, for Christ's sake! Next year's costume will be massively uncomfortable to make up for it.

The beginning of November has been mostly spent on (a) reading the entire works of Louisa May Alcott (sometimes you just need some heavy-handed moralizing!) and (b) trying to figure out what is causing this TOTALLY AWESOME pattern I've come across in some data I'm working with. I can't say too much because then everyone will steal and/or blog about my TOTALLY AWESOME finding, but suffice to say it confirms a lot of suspicions some of us have had about a certain type of person. Doesn't that sound interesting? If you buy me some beers I will probably tell you anyway.
