The del.icio.us feed on my website (the Emilinks in the right-hand column) wasn't working for quite some time, so you probably missed some totally awesome internet website urls that I posted. But it's working now, so I encourage you to check out such fascinating pieces of information as How to Keep Greens Fresh, a timeline of the modern two-party system in the Senate, or a review of colored pencils.
The senate timeline is really interesting (even if I don't understand how they scientifically plotted the representatives on the liberal-conservative spectrum).
For instance, look at the senate median line to see how the Republican Revolution that started in 1994 actually reached its peak in the beginning of 1999. Ideological control of the senate was actually returning to liberals for almost three years until 9/11 created the "conservative bubble" that is bursting today.
