Getting to work: a study in public transportation

I love public transportation. Buses, metros, trolleys, whatever. So I was excited when my office moved to a prime downtown location on 19th and K. I live northeast of the city, on 11th and Kenyon (just a few blocks east of the Columbia Heights metro). Over the past three months, I've done my best to explore all my morning transportation options. Below is what I found, keeping in mind that there are more factors than appear on this chart. For instance, I'm lucky that the 66 route starts near my house, so I can minimize wait time by leaving my house a few minutes before it's scheduled to arrive. There are also qualitative considerations: the Red Line numbers don't take into account the fact that the trains are always over-crowded and there's almost no chance of getting a seat. Maybe someday I'll add a notes field, but for now...here are my findings.
