A Small Bird

So Will and I were coming back from lunch today when we noticed two birds hopping about outside the front door to the office. We looked at them. They looked at us. They hopped some more.
Will and I went inside, and the birds stayed outside the door. Chris came downstairs, heading out for lunch. "Check out those birds!" we said to him. He opened the door and, of course, a bird flew in. It hopped. We pursued. And in a few seconds it had made its way to the very back of a large shelving unit in the darkest part of the hallway. After ten minutes of coaxing, gentle swatting, and trapping, we managed to lure the bird outside the shelf. It flew into a cardboard box, which we quickly upended and shut. We took the box outside and the bird hopped out.
In other news, sometimes statistics are wrong.
